Richmond - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Hardide Coatings, Inc., a manufacturer of advanced surface coatings, will invest $7.25 million to establish its first Virginia operation in Henry County and create 29 new jobs with an average salary of $50,000, which is well above the average prevailing wage in the region. Virginia successfully competed against Oklahoma and Texas for the project, which is a result of the Governor’s meeting with company officials outside London during the 2014 Farnborough International Airshow.

RICHMOND - Thirteen companies from across the Commonwealth graduated January 14, 2015 from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) Program, touting impressive results from their newly acquired tools to successfully export products and services overseas. The graduating companies were recognized during a noon luncheon at the downtown Omni Hotel.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that San-J International, Inc., a leading producer of tamari sauce, will invest $38 million to expand its operation in Henrico County. With a significant rise in customer demand for gluten-free products, the Henrico facility will increase production volumes with state-of-the-art equipment and create 18 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against Oregon for the project, which is a result of the Governor’s meeting with company officials in Tokyo during his Asia Marketing Mission in October 2014.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Oak Hall Cap & Gown, a manufacturer of quality academic, judicial and religious apparel, will invest $1.2 million to establish a textile manufacturing operation in the Town of Independence in Grayson County. The company will renovate and up-fit an existing 85,000-square-foot facility and create 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Bechtel Corporation, one of the world’s largest engineering, construction and project management companies, will invest $10 million to relocate its Frederick, Maryland operation to Fairfax County as a result of global restructuring. The project will create 700 new jobs.
