RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in lighting innovation, will invest $6.015 million to expand and consolidate its manufacturing and assembly operations at its facility in the Town of Christiansburg in Montgomery County. The project will create 100 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Monogram Food Solutions, LLC, a Memphis-based manufacturer of value-added processed meats, will invest $7.244 million to establish a warehousing and logistics operation in Henry County. The company has operated a meat snacks production facility in the Henry County Patriot Centre Industrial Park since 2009. Virginia successfully competed against two other states for the project, which will create 101 new jobs.
CARDIFF, UNITED KINGDOM - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Elephant Auto Insurance, a subsidiary of U.K.-based Admiral Group plc, will invest $2 million to expand its U.S. headquarters operation in Henrico County. The Governor made the announcement following a meeting with Admiral Group officials in Cardiff during his European marketing mission. The project will create 1,173 new jobs.
NECKARSULM, GERMANY - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Lidl, one of the fastest growing retailers in Europe, will invest $202 million to establish operations in Virginia. The investment will include $77 million for its U.S. corporate headquarters in Arlington County, creating 500 new jobs, as well as $125 million in a regional headquarters and distribution center facility in Spotsylvania County, creating an additional 200 jobs.
RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) Board of Directors selected its new Chair, Chris A. Lumsden of South Boston, and Vice Chair, C. Daniel Clemente of McLean. The appointments were effective at the conclusion of the quarterly VEDP board meeting on June 4, 2015. As a state authority, the Partnership is governed by a 24-member Board of Directors comprised of businesspersons from around Virginia, each of whom is appointed by the Governor and the General Assembly.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Qore Systems, LLC will invest $12.8 million to relocate from Arizona and establish its first Virginia operation in Highlands Business Park, owned and operated by Smyth County and Washington County. The company is a developer, manufacturer and distributor of Qore-24, the world's only antimicrobial hand purifier that effectively kills germs for up to 24 hours. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina for the project, which will create 140 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that CWW Conveyor Systems, LLC (CWW) will invest $2 million to expand its operation in Carroll County. The company, which supplies conveyor systems for the mining industry, operated as part of Caterpillar Global Mining America, LLC until March 2015, when CWW was created as a new, independent entity to serve the United States, Mexico and Canada. Virginia successfully competed against Pennsylvania for the project, which will create 20 new jobs paying above the average prevailing wage in the region.

(AGS), a portfolio company of AXON Connected, LLC that provides swarm-based cybersecurity products, will invest $1.5 million to expand its operation in the City of Harrisonburg. Virginia successfully competed against Michigan and New Jersey for the project, which will create 29 new jobs paying well above the average prevailing wage in the region.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Aerojet Rocketdyne (NYSE:AJRD) will invest $11 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Orange County. The company produces propulsion systems and operates a technology development center and laboratories for solid propulsion, and test facilities for rocket motors and air-breathing propulsion systems. The expansion is anticipated to create 100 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today the creation of the Virginia International Trade Alliance (VITAL), a new initiative managed by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) that will increase international trade in Virginia. VITAL expands the Commonwealth’s nationally recognized international trade program via formal partnerships with Virginia’s public universities, industry associations and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce to serve their member companies as they expand international sales.
