RICHMOND - Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced that two Virginia companies have been named recipients of Trade & Industry Development’s 12th annual CiCi (Corporate Investment & Community Impact) Awards. The leading magazine dedicated to corporate site selectors in vertical industry segments recognized ADP (City of Norfolk) and Microsoft Corporation (Mecklenburg County) in the Community Impact category.
FAIRFAX COUNTY - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Granules India Ltd., a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company, will invest $35 million into its wholly-owned subsidiary, Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., to expand its pharmaceutical R&D and manufacturing capabilities in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed against New Jersey for the project, which will create 102 new jobs. In 2014, the company invested $15 million to establish their wholly-owned subsidiary operation, creating 75 jobs in Fairfax.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Concept Plus, LLC, an IT service provider specializing in end-to-end design, development, and operational support of database, middleware, and business applications, will invest $140,000 to expand its IT operation to create a shared lab for application developers in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed against Colorado, Maryland, Wisconsin, and Washington, D.C. for the project, which will create 31 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Windward Consulting, an information technology consultancy helping large organizations manage their data centers and networks, will invest $825,000 to expand its headquarters in Fairfax County. The project will also create 97 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Wholesome Harvest Baking, a subsidiary of Grupo Bimbo, one of the world’s largest bakery companies, will invest $22.1 million to upgrade equipment and add a production line for artisan bread in its City of Roanoke operation. In addition, 324 existing employees will be retrained to operate the new machinery with support from the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP).
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe and Integer Holdings Corporation today announced that Integer™, known locally as Lake Region Medical, has invested more than $7 million to expand its manufacturing capabilities in the City of Salem. Over the past three years, Integer’s Salem site has experienced 10 percent year-over-year employment growth and this trajectory is expected to continue.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that IR Engraving, a world leader in designing and building engraved rolls and plates, gravure rolls, and custom machinery, will invest $850,000 to expand its manufacturing operation in Henrico County to meet increased demand. The project will also create 22 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that 2nd Life Inc., a consumer electronics wholesaler serving Virginia and the surrounding region, will invest $975,000 to expand its operation in the Manchester district of the City of Richmond. The expansion project will create 66 new jobs over the next two years.
