RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Munters Corporation, a manufacturer of energy recovery systems, dehumidification systems and custom air handling equipment, will invest $2.5 million to expand and upgrade equipment at its manufacturing operation in Buena Vista. Virginia successfully competed against several other states for the project, which will create 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that TemperPack, a manufacturer of sustainable packaging technology for perishable goods, will invest $2 million to expand its headquarters and manufacturing operation in the City of Richmond, creating 23 new jobs. The company will purchase production equipment that boosts capacity and creates innovative products for new markets. TemperPack will double its employee count within two years and the new employees will be trained to operate the new production machinery through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Virginia-based Owens & Minor, a global healthcare services company, will make a multi-year, multi-million dollar investment to establish a new Client Engagement Center (CEC) in downtown Richmond. Owens & Minor’s CEC will occupy approximately 90,000 square feet at Riverfront Plaza. The City of Richmond successfully competed against 60 other cities around the nation to win the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Global Guardian, a provider of world-class security solutions, will invest $1.3 million to expand its corporate headquarters in Fairfax County. The company will invest in additional office space, new technology for its operations center and specialized workforce training for 22 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced approximately $700,000 in Virginia Brownfields Restoration and Economic Redevelopment Assistance Fund (VBAF) Site Remediation Grants for three localities in the Commonwealth. The City of Petersburg was awarded $350,000; the Town of Pulaski was awarded $240,000; and the Town of Herndon was awarded $109,000.

The company provides advanced technology solutions and direct engineering support to leading technology companies as well as the U.S.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that idX Corporation, the preeminent supplier of global solutions for retail environments, will invest $7.2 million to establish its Virginia manufacturing operation in Spotsylvania County. The company provides quality millwork, fixtures, décor and graphics to its customers, and offers manufacturing in all materials, including acrylic, glass, laminates, metal, upholstery, veneers, and wood. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland and North Carolina for the project, which will create 150 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Steel Dynamics, one of the largest domestic steel producers and metals recyclers in the United States, will invest $28 million in its Roanoke Bar Division in the City of Roanoke to purchase new equipment and make facility enhancements, including railroad track upgrades, and increasing capacity of its rolling mill operations. Working in partnership with the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), Steel Dynamics’ 307 existing employees will be retrained to operate the new machinery.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Nestlé USA, a subsidiary of Nestlé S.A., a leading global nutrition, health and wellness company, will invest $39.8 million to relocate its U.S. corporate headquarters operation to Arlington County from California. The company will occupy 206,000 square feet of 1812 North Moore Street, the tallest building in the metropolitan area. The project will create 748 new jobs in the area.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Winchester Metals, a complete package metals industry partner, has invested $140,000 in new equipment at its manufacturing operation in Frederick County. Through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), 29 existing employees will be retrained to operate the new machinery.
