RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of four Central Virginia companies into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that TRG Customer Solutions, a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider of customer management solutions and technologies, and their partner, First Potomac Management LLC, will invest more than $900,000 to expand its operations in the City of Hampton. The project saves 300 jobs and will create 120 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Wood Fuel Developers, LLC, an affiliate of Chester, Virginia-based Industrial TurnAround Corporation (ITAC), will invest $8.6 million to begin wood pellet manufacturing operations in Sussex County. The project will create 28 jobs. Virginia successfully competed with Georgia for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that leading hospitality company Hilton Worldwide will invest $1.8 million to expand in Fairfax County, relocating more than 100 new jobs in the company's supply management group. In August 2009, the company moved its headquarters from Beverly Hills, Calif. to McLean, Va. in Fairfax County.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced that UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) company, is making a multimillion-dollar investment to expand its operations in the City of Roanoke. UnitedHealthcare’s expansion is expected to create 125 new jobs over the next two years.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Dynax America Corporation, a manufacturer of automotive components, will invest $15.66 million to expand its operation in Botetourt County. The expansion project will accommodate new contracts with Ford, General Motors, and Daimler, creating 95 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against China for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell today announced that J.Crew Group, Inc., a nationally recognized apparel retailer, will expand its distribution operation in the City of Lynchburg. The project will create 177 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Continental Waste Management, LLC, will invest $6 million to establish a post-industrial and post-consumer plastic recycling plant in the City of Covington. The company, which will occupy the former AET Film property, will also produce plastic/wood composite products. The project will create 100 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that advertising agency Modea will invest $10 million to expand operations and build a new corporate headquarters site in Montgomery County. The agency specializes in building brands in the online space. Virginia successfully competed with Illinois, North Carolina and Texas for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that Belgium-based Katoen Natie (KTN), a worldwide global logistics provider, will establish a warehousing and distribution operation in the City of Norfolk. Ford Motor Company sold its Norfolk Assembly Plant property to Jacoby Development, Inc. KTN will invest $10.5 million to purchase a portion of the former Ford Plant from Jacoby and refurbish the 662,000-square-foot former body shop. KTN will invest an additional $1.5 million in new equipment. Fully staffed, the project will create 225 new jobs.
