Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that CBF, LLC has chosen Tazewell County for its new high-tech metal fabrication facility. The company will invest over $2.5 million in the project and create 40 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed with Kentucky for the investment.

Food distributor to create 150 net new jobs for Virginians

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that AmeriServe Food Distribution Inc., one of the nation's largest foodservice distributors, will more than double the size of its Prince William County facility. As a result of a consolidation, AmeriServe will hire more than 250 new employees, resulting in a net gain of 150 new jobs in Virginia. 

Company's investment in distribution center largest in county's history

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that Perdue Farms, Inc. will locate a $25 million packaging, quality control, labeling and distribution center in Prince George County. The facility will be operated by the Pro Source Group, a manufacturing and logistics company based in Chicago. Pro Source plans to hire 175 employees at the Perdue plant, making the center one of the five largest employers in the area.
