RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that The Motley Fool, a multimedia financial-services company, will invest $5 million to upgrade its facility and expand recruitment efforts in the City of Alexandria. Virginia successfully competed against Washington, D.C., for the project, which will retain 282 jobs and create 60 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Dollar Tree, Inc., an American chain of discount variety stores, will invest $110 million for development of its corporate headquarters in the City of Chesapeake. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina for the project, which will retain 825 jobs and create 600 new jobs over the next six years.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Toray Plastics (America), Inc., a subsidiary of Toray Industries, Inc., headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, will invest $45 million to expand its Front Royal facility in Warren County. Toray Plastics (America) is a global leader in high-performance films, synthetic fibers and textiles, carbon fibers, plastics, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. The company will add extrusion capability and a new production line to meet growing customer demand. The project will create 30 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Applied Predictive Technologies (APT), a leading cloud-based analytics software company, will expand its headquarters operation in Arlington County. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina and Washington, D.C., for the project, which will create 368 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that ALDI, a leader in the grocery retailing industry, will invest $57 million to establish a division headquarters and 500,000-square-foot distribution facility in Dinwiddie County. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina for the project, which will create 145 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Niagara Bottling LLC, a family-owned and operated bottled beverage supplier, will invest $95 million to establish a manufacturing and bottling operation at Meadowville Technology Park in Chesterfield County. The company will utilize state-of-the-art filtration to produce its Niagara brand and private label bottled water. Virginia successfully competed against Maryland for the project, which will create 76 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that MillerCoors, a joint venture between SABMiller and Molson Coors Brewing Company, will invest $60 million to expand its Shenandoah brewery in Rockingham County. The brewery is the newest in the MillerCoors network and is used to service Northeast markets. The project will create 27 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today the launch of the Virginia Trade Show Assistance Program, administered by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) International Trade Division. This new program, funded by the General Assembly in its biennial budget, provides a way for eligible Virginia companies to connect with new customers and grow international sales by exhibiting their products and services at international trade shows.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that KYOCERA SGS Precision Tool Inc. (KSPT), a wholly owned subsidiary of KYOCERA Corporation and a leader in solid carbide cutting tool manufacturing, will invest $9.5 million to establish a North American technology and strategic manufacturing hub, KYOCERA SGS Tech Hub, LLC, in the City of Danville and Pittsylvania County.
