ATKINS—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Smyth County Machine, LLC, a full-service machining and fabrication facility, will invest $2.1 million to add equipment and expand its product line in Smyth County. Virginia successfully competed against Tennessee for the project, which will create 35 new jobs.

HalioDx to expand North American operations, establish facility in VA Bio+Tech Park

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that HalioDx, an immuno-oncology company pioneering the immunological diagnosis of cancers, has invested more than $1 million to establish a CLIA laboratory in the VA Bio+Tech Park in the City of Richmond. RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that The Results Companies, a leading provider of business processing outsourcing services, will invest $1.5 million to expand its client engagement operations in Chesterfield County. The company will lease additional space for its second call center in the area. Virginia successfully competed against New Mexico for the project, which will create 600 new jobs.

Dynovis, Inc. to grow its engineering and manufacturing operations

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Dynovis, Inc., a Virginia-based manufacturer providing inspired solutions and product expertise to the aerospace and defense industries, will invest $592,000 to establish a new manufacturing operation in Rockbridge County. The company will renovate a formerly vacant, 75,000-square-foot facility and invest in new equipment to significantly increase its production capabilities. The project will create 44 new jobs.
