RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of a Fredericksburg company, Zenith Aviation, into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growing their export sales.

Delta Star Inc., a manufacturer of power transformers and mobile substations for the electrical grid, will invest $35 million to expand their Lynchburg operations. The project will create 300 jobs.

Energy infrastructure company will invest $22.5 million and create 120 new jobs.
