Somic Ishikawa to locate in Wythe County

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that Somic Ishikawa, a Japan-based company, will locate an automotive-parts manufacturing facility in Wythe County. The company will invest $5.3 million while hiring 25 skilled workers within 30 months. Virginia successfully competed with Tennessee and Maine for this investment.

KMR Aviation Services Inc. to invest $1 million to expand operation  

RICHMOND - Governor Ralph Northam today announced that KMR Aviation Services Inc., an aviation management company, will invest $1 million to expand its operation in Bedford County. The company will purchase its 7,200-square-foot leased facility and add a new repair center to build and assemble components on location to accommodate its growing client base. The project will create 12 new jobs.

Governor Gilmore announces Japanese company to invests $1.8 million

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that Usui International Company, UIC, will expand its Chesapeake facility creating 25 additional jobs. The company will also invest $1.8 million in the facility.

Richmond - Governor Jim Gilmore today announced that Dendrite International, a Morristown, New Jersey-based firm, will locate a new technical services center in the Greenbrier area of Chesapeake. The new facility will create 335 new jobs within the first 30 months with a total investment exceeding $30 million.
