RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that CWW Conveyor Systems, LLC (CWW) will invest $2 million to expand its operation in Carroll County. The company, which supplies conveyor systems for the mining industry, operated as part of Caterpillar Global Mining America, LLC until March 2015, when CWW was created as a new, independent entity to serve the United States, Mexico and Canada. Virginia successfully competed against Pennsylvania for the project, which will create 20 new jobs paying above the average prevailing wage in the region.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that AXON Ghost Sentinel, Inc. (AGS), a portfolio company of AXON Connected, LLC that provides swarm-based cybersecurity products, will invest $1.5 million to expand its operation in the City of Harrisonburg. Virginia successfully competed against Michigan and New Jersey for the project, which will create 29 new jobs paying well above the average prevailing wage in the region.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Aerojet Rocketdyne (NYSE:AJRD) will invest $11 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Orange County. The company produces propulsion systems and operates a technology development center and laboratories for solid propulsion, and test facilities for rocket motors and air-breathing propulsion systems. The expansion is anticipated to create 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today the creation of the Virginia International Trade Alliance (VITAL), a new initiative managed by the Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) that will increase international trade in Virginia. VITAL expands the Commonwealth’s nationally recognized international trade program via formal partnerships with Virginia’s public universities, industry associations and the Virginia Chamber of Commerce to serve their member companies as they expand international sales.

RICHMOND - Twelve companies from across the Commonwealth graduated from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) Program, touting impressive results from their newly acquired tools to successfully export products and services overseas. The graduating companies were recognized by Governor McAuliffe during a luncheon at the downtown Omni Hotel yesterday.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Dhiyo House Inc., a specialty supplier of belting for the conveyor and power transmission industries, will invest $6.1 million to establish its first Virginia manufacturing operation in Wise County. The company has been operating successfully in the United States since 2008, serving various clients with industrial conveyor belts manufactured by the family company in India.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that 3B Consulting Services, LLC (3BCS), a consulting and engineering service firm involved in environmental and construction work in the coalfield regions of Kentucky, West Virginia and Virginia, will invest $2.5 million to establish its headquarters operation in Russell County. The project will create 15 new jobs paying above the average prevailing wage in the region.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Hardywood Park Craft Brewery will invest more than $28 million over the next five years to expand its operations in Goochland County. The company will open a new brewery complex to complement its current facility in Richmond, complete with a 60,000 square foot brewery, packaging and distribution hall, a taproom, an amphitheater, an extensive garden, and equipment to increase production capacity for its award-winning craft beer.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Virginia Poultry Growers Cooperative, Inc. will invest almost $62 million over the next three years to construct a new 80,000 square foot turkey processing facility in Hinton. The expansion will be supported by additional investment in the company’s feed mill in Broadway and its grain elevator in Linville. The Cooperative, which consists of 165 member-growers, will create six new jobs and increase production by more than forty-five percent. Virginia successfully competed against Pennsylvania for the project.

RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of a Virginia Beach company, Regulus Global, into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growth through export.
