RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Tempur Sealy International, Inc. (NYSE: TPX) will invest $16.7 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Scott County. The company will increase production to meet growing demand for its proprietary foam mattress and pillow products. Virginia successfully competed with New Mexico for the project, which will create 25 new jobs.
 

HapcoPole Products to expand manufacturing operation, create 28 new jobs 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Hapco Pole Products, a manufacturer of aluminum poles, will invest over $6 million to expand its operation in Washington County. The company will construct a 60,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility adjacent to its current manufacturing campus. The project will create 28 new jobs.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Zasti, Inc., an artificial intelligence (AI) technology company that develops innovative risk screening, predictive analytics, and climate change solutions for the healthcare industry, will invest $5.9 million to establish its U.S. headquarters and operations in Loudoun County. The company will utilize the facility to develop and embed ZASTI© AI platforms in diagnostic devices and enterprise IT systems to ensure product quality, supply chain security, and affordability.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that J&J Truck Sales, Inc., a leading heavy duty truck sales and construction equipment sales and rental firm, will invest $5.2 million to expand its operation in Pittsylvania County. The company will establish a new 45,000-square-foot facility adjacent to its existing operation at 11453 U.S. Highway 29, increasing its automotive-based equipment repair, refurbishment, and fabrication capacity to better serve the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast construction markets.

Thomson Reuters to establish internal cybersecurity operations center 

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Oransi, a veteran-owned air purification company, will invest $5.6 million to establish its first manufacturing facility in the Plymouth Building at 113 Corporate Drive in the City of Radford. The operation will focus on developing and manufacturing the company’s best-in-class air purifiers for consumers, businesses, and professionals in the health, dental, and medical fields. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina for the project, which will create 101 new jobs.
