RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that ELDOR Corporation, an international group leader in the automotive business, will invest about $75 million to establish its first U.S. production plant in Botetourt County. The project will create approximately 350 new jobs. The company’s key manufactured products include ignition systems, engine control units, braking systems actuators, and power/electronics management systems for hybrid and electric vehicles.

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. - The Prince William Board of County Supervisors is pleased to announce Iron Mountain Information Management, LLC, a subsidiary of Iron Mountain, Incorporated, the data storage and information management company, is planning to make significant investments and create highly skilled jobs in Prince William County with the development of a new data center campus.

Richmond - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) announced today that Lansinoh Laboratories, Inc., the market leader in breastfeeding accessories, has signed an agreement with MEXEX to distribute its products in Mexico. Lansinoh is a participant in VEDP’s marquee export promotion program, the Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program, designed to accelerate the success of Virginia companies in international markets.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Basket Savings, an innovative application software development company, will invest $10 million to establish an operation in Arlington County. Basket has built the first-ever smart shopping list powered by its community-based mobile app that empowers consumers to make educated decisions when shopping for groceries and every day goods, helping them know the price of everything, everywhere. Virginia successfully competed against Washington, D.C.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Graphic Packaging International, Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of Graphic Packaging Holding Company, will invest $20 million to expand its operation in the City of Staunton. The company is a leading provider of packaging solutions to food, beverage and other consumer products companies. The project will create 43 new jobs.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that AccuTec Blades, Inc., the world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality specialty, medical and professional blades and tools, will invest $5.37 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Augusta County. Virginia successfully competed against several other states for the project, which will retain 138 jobs and create 53 new jobs.

RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced a partnership with 24 private sector providers that will offer services to companies in the two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growing their export sales.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Emser Tile, the leading designer, marketer and producer of the world’s finest tile and natural stone, will invest $16.25 million to establish an East Coast distribution operation in CenterPoint Intermodal Center in the City of Suffolk. Virginia successfully competed against South Carolina for the project, which will create 98 new jobs. 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Polykon Manufacturing LLC, a joint venture between Seppic, Inc. and Schülke Inc., will invest more than $60 million to establish a manufacturing operation in Virginia in Henrico County. Seppic and schülke are entities of Air Liquide Healthcare. Virginia successfully competed against Ohio for the project, which will create approximately 50 new jobs. The Governor met with senior company officials at the Seppic headquarters in Paris during his European Marketing Mission in June 2015.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Opower (NYSE: OPWR), the global leader in cloud-based software for the utility industry, will invest $10.45 million to expand its headquarters operation in Arlington County. Virginia successfully competed against Washington, D.C. for the project, which will create 70 new jobs and retain 357 existing jobs paying above the average prevailing wage in the region.
