Leading foodservice distributor to make significant investment to expand facility 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that US Foods, one of the nation’s largest foodservice distributors, will make significant investments by expanding and renovating 220,000 square feet of its Prince William County distribution facility. Virginia was selected after a rigorous review of over five undisclosed states, and will create approximately 100 new jobs.

RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of two Smyth County companies, Longwall Associates, Inc., and Reline America, into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growing their export sales.

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Nomadic Display, a worldwide leader in trade show displays, will create 30 new jobs and invested $940,000 in connection with its expansion and headquarters relocation in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina for the project. Through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program (VJIP), 61 existing employees will be retrained on new products and processes.
