RICHMOND - Governor Timothy M. Kaine today kicked off his Renew Virginia initiative, which will include legislative and executive actions to make Virginia a leader in energy conservation and efficiency and protecting the environment.
RICHMOND - Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced that Continental AG, a leading global automotive supplier, will transfer its South Carolina manufacturing operations to its Newport News facility, creating 318 new jobs. The consolidation will combine the diesel and gasoline fuel injector manufacturing operations into a single location. The company will invest $194 million to relocate diesel fuel injector manufacturing as well as expand the existing gasoline fuel injector business line.

RICHMOND - Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced that fitness company Nautilus, Inc. will invest $1.7 million to expand in Grayson County. The company, which will expand its manufacturing operation to add a cardio exercise equipment line, will create 60 jobs. Virginia successfully competed with Oregon and China for the project.

RICHMOND - Governor Timothy M. Kaine today announced that Terremark Worldwide, Inc., a leading operator of integrated Internet exchanges and a global provider of managed Information Technology (IT) infrastructure solutions for government and private sectors, expects to invest approximately $270 million over the next 5-7 years to open a data center campus on a 30-acre site in Culpeper County. The project is expected to create 250 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed with New Jersey, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania for the project.
RICHMOND - A combined eight companies from across the Commonwealth will graduate Thursday from two state export programs, carrying with them the tools and know-how necessary to export their products and services overseas. The graduating companies will be recognized during a noon luncheon Thursday at the Omni Hotel.

Kaine today announced that Quality Culvert Inc., a Florida-based manufacturer of plastic and concrete pipe, will invest $6.8 million to build a new 58,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in the Greensville County Industrial Park.
