RICHMOND - Thirteen companies from across the Commonwealth graduated January 14, 2015 from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) Program, touting impressive results from their newly acquired tools to successfully export products and services overseas. The graduating companies were recognized during a noon luncheon at the downtown Omni Hotel.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that San-J International, Inc., a leading producer of tamari sauce, will invest $38 million to expand its operation in Henrico County. With a significant rise in customer demand for gluten-free products, the Henrico facility will increase production volumes with state-of-the-art equipment and create 18 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed against Oregon for the project, which is a result of the Governor’s meeting with company officials in Tokyo during his Asia Marketing Mission in October 2014.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Oak Hall Cap & Gown, a manufacturer of quality academic, judicial and religious apparel, will invest $1.2 million to establish a textile manufacturing operation in the Town of Independence in Grayson County. The company will renovate and up-fit an existing 85,000-square-foot facility and create 100 new jobs.

The project will create 700 new jobs.
Richmond - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that 510nano Incorporated, a developer of renewable energy projects and technologies, will invest $11 million to relocate its headquarters and establish a manufacturing operation in Greensville County. The company will construct a 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for the production of solar panels in Greensville County Industrial Park. The project will create 113 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that McAllister Mills Inc., the leading manufacturer of safe, heat-resistant materials for the textile industry, will invest $1.05 million to expand and significantly increase its textile manufacturing operations in Grayson County. The company will purchase and renovate a vacant 33,000-square-foot facility that will house new automation and equipment. Virginia successfully competed against North Carolina for the project, which will retain 43 existing jobs and create 16 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Navy Federal Credit Union will invest $114.6 million to expand its headquarters operation in the Town of Vienna in Fairfax County. The company will construct a 233,000-square-foot office building and add 600 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Simmons Equipment Company, a manufacturer of world-class battery-powered mining equipment, plans to invest $1 million to expand its manufacturing operation in Tazewell County. The project is projected to create more than 30 new jobs over the upcoming years.

Virginia successfully competed against Tennessee for the project, which will create 25 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe announced today that Ashland Inc., a leading global specialty chemical company, will invest approximately $89 million over the next three years to expand its manufacturing operation in the City of Hopewell. The company will significantly increase production capacity, creating 17 new jobs and preserving 237 existing jobs. Virginia successfully competed against Kentucky, Texas, Brazil and China for the project.
