Leading foodservice distributor to make significant investment to expand facility 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that US Foods, one of the nation’s largest foodservice distributors, will make significant investments by expanding and renovating 220,000 square feet of its Prince William County distribution facility. Virginia was selected after a rigorous review of over five undisclosed states, and will create approximately 100 new jobs.

Avizia to expand healthcare IT operation 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Avizia, a leading provider of system-wide telehealth solutions, is investing to expand its presence in Fairfax County. The expansion will create 27 new jobs.

Company to invest $450,000 and create 16 new jobs 

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Draftco, Inc., a machine and fabrication shop, will invest $450,000 to expand its manufacturing operation in Augusta County. The company will make improvements to its quality inspection room and purchase new machines and welding and testing equipment. The expansion will create 16 new jobs.

Mission Services Inc. to invest $820,000 to expand IT support operation

RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Mission Services Inc. (MSI), a leading provider of unique and innovative information technology (IT) support services for federal agencies, will invest $820,000 to expand its operation in Fairfax County. Virginia successfully competed against Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Ohio, and Texas for the project, which will create 400 new jobs.

With a thriving industrial and innovation ecosystem, a top-ranked business climate, and a highly skilled workforce, Virginia is an outstanding choice for aerospace and unmanned aerial systems (UAS) companies. In the past decade, 60 aerospace and UAS projects have been announced in Virginia, representing over 4,600 jobs and over $865 million in investment.

RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in contract logistics, will invest $72 million to establish a state-of-the-art distribution operation for its Real Estate Solutions unit in Stafford County’s Venture Business Park. The company will build a 500,000-square-foot high-bay facility with highly mechanized equipment for material handling to serve the Mid-Atlantic region. Virginia successfully competed with Maryland for the project, which will create 577 new jobs.
