RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that American Woodmark Corporation, a major manufacturer of quality kitchen and bath cabinets for the home, will invest $30 million to consolidate headquarters operations in Frederick County. Virginia successfully competed for this project, which will retain 377 jobs, in addition to creating 55 new jobs.
RICHMOND - Governor Terry McAuliffe today announced that Peet’s Coffee®, the original craft coffee brand celebrating its 50th anniversary, will invest $58 million to establish an East Coast manufacturing operation in the City of Suffolk. The company will build a 175,000-square-foot Roastery to produce a variety of coffee. A Manchester, England-based company, Nulife provides a complete and sustainable recycling service for all types of cathode ray tube (CRT) glass. This unique solution extracts lead from the leaded glass fraction in CRTs, found in televisions and computer monitors. Virginia successfully competed against Ohio and Pennsylvania for the project, which will create 46 new jobs.
