Five localities across the Commonwealth of Virginia received $1.5 million in Site Remediation Grants from the Virginia Brownfields Restoration and Economic Redevelopment Assistance Fund (VBAF).

Serioplast, a global manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging, will invest $25,725,000 to occupy a 140,000-square-foot industrial facility in Shenandoah County.

Nodal Exchange, LLC, North America's largest power futures exchange and a subsidiary of the Deutsche Boerse Group's EEX Group, will invest $300,000 to expand its operations in Fairfax County, creating 33 new jobs.

Aspetto, Inc., a Virginia-based manufacturer of tactical gear and provider of cybersecurity and IT services for defense agencies, will relocate and expand its corporate headquarters in Stafford County.

Clasen Quality Chocolate, a U.S. manufacturer of chocolate, will invest $230 million to build a new production facility in Frederick County. The project will create 250 new jobs in the county.

Strickland Manufacturing, an attachment manufacturer and distributor, will invest $3.3 million to expand its existing facility in Goochland County.

ViDARR Inc., a manufacturer of defense optical equipment, will invest $2.69 million over the next three years to open a new manufacturing facility in the City of Virginia Beach.
