RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam announced today that Navien, Inc., a leader in condensing technology for water heaters and boilers, will invest $77.5 million to establish its first U.S. manufacturing and assembly operation in the former Lumber Liquidators facility in James City County, which will create 180 new jobs. The company will triple the footprint of the existing building, bringing it to nearly 900,000 square feet. Virginia successfully competed with Illinois, Maryland, and Pennsylvania for the project.
RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Amazon will open a new fulfillment center for its Amazon Basics line in Prince George County. RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Custom Truck One Source, a manufacturer and distributor of specialized trucks and heavy equipment, will invest $2.6 million to expand its existing manufacturing operation in Bedford County. The company will double production at its operation in Forest, Virginia to meet growing demand from its customers, creating 61 new jobs.

Blue Ridge Designs, LLC to invest $2.28 million to grow manufacturing operation

Expel, Inc. will invest $1.4 million to expand footprint
RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that Expel, Inc., a Virginia-based managed security provider, will invest $1.4 million to expand its operation in the Town of Herndon in Fairfax County. The company will grow its footprint by adding additional space to the current facility and creating 164 new jobs across its engineering, customer experience, IT, marketing, and sales teams over the next three years.
GMAX Industries will invest $10.5 million in new operation
RICHMOND—Governor Ralph Northam today announced that GMAX Industries, Inc., a manufacturer and sourcing agent of medical disposable products for the healthcare industry, will invest $10.5 million to establish a manufacturing and distribution operation in Pretlow Industrial Park in the City of Franklin. The facility will centralize the company’s operations in-house, creating 40 new jobs. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina for the project.
