RICHMOND - The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) today announced the acceptance of a Christiansburg company, Inorganic Ventures, into its two-year Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program. Launched in January 2002, the program assists exporters in the Commonwealth that have firmly established domestic operations and are committed to international exporting as an expansion strategy.

Inorganic Ventures joins the program as part of the 16th class of VALET companies. To participate, each eligible business must meet several quantitative criteria and complete an application process. Participating firms are chosen based on their dedication to growth through export. Currently, more than 100 Virginia companies have been accepted to participate in the VALET program.

Inorganic Ventures specializes in manufacturing custom inorganic standards, in addition to a wide selection of catalog items. Inorganic Ventures is known for producing a higher quality of certified reference materials. The company is currently working to establish a strong international presence, bringing top quality standards to Europe, Asia and other parts of the world at competitive prices.

“During the past six years, growth in the international marketplace has been a priority for Inorganic Ventures,” said Jeffrey Itle, Foreign Distribution Manager. “We have dually committed to strengthening our network of distributor representatives and creating brand awareness in foreign markets. Although we have had encouraging results with this strategy, we know it must continue to evolve. Participation in the VALET program creates the perfect opportunity to re-evaluate and improve our International business strategy. We are excited to tap into its many resources and to learn from the experiences of our classmates. Under the VALET program’s leadership we look forward to structuring a solid plan that will enable us to achieve our goal of becoming the global leader in our industry.”

The VALET program incorporates services from a team of experienced international service providers who assist the VALET companies with their international goals. Service providers such as attorneys, Web designers, bankers, translators and freight-forwarders contribute essential skills for expansion into international markets.

“VALET welcomes Inorganic Ventures into the program,” said Leslie Parpart, VALET Program Manager. “We look forward to working with its international team over the course of the next two years to assist the company in exceeding export goals.”
