RICHMOND - Governor Mark R. Warner today announced that Call Evolution Company will invest $1 million to open a facility in Scott County. The center will be located in Duffield Industrial Park’s Pioneer Center and will provide customer service support to Fortune 500 financial and insurance companies, creating 200 new jobs in 30 months.

“Southwest Virginia welcomes Call Evolution Company to the area,” said Governor Warner. “Duffield Industrial Park is a significant economic development center that reaches beyond Scott County, and Call Evolution’s creation of 200 new jobs will have a great impact on the region as a major employer.”

Call Evolution Company, headquartered in Ohio, specializes in inbound and outbound customer service calls. The Scott County center will be a member of the Results Network, an affiliation of call centers managed by the Results Companies of Dania, Florida. The organization is responsible for some two dozen call centers throughout the United States and has gained a reputation for quality and good management.

“With our partnership with the Results Companies we have the exciting opportunity to bring many new jobs and opportunities to Scott County,” said Brad Grubb, President, Call Evolution Company. “We first would like to thank Congressman Rick Boucher for all of his support and resources to help facilitate this great opportunity for Call Evolution Company and Scott County. We also wish to thank both Governor Mark Warner for the invaluable assistance provided by the state of Virginia and local officials in Scott County for their commitment to our project. We are looking forward to working with and forming many relationships with the people in the great state of Virginia.”

U.S. Congressman Rick Boucher was instrumental in securing this project for Virginia. The Virginia Economic Development Partnership, Scott County and the Virginia Coalfield Economic Development Authority assisted Call Evolution Company with its decision. The Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission approved $185,000 in Special Projects Funds for the project following the recommendation of the Special Funds chairman, State Senator William Wampler. The Virginia Department of Business Assistance will support the project with training assistance through its Workforce Services Program.

"The Scott County Board of Supervisors has made recent investments in the Pioneer Center, and we are excited about this new opportunity that Call Evolution Company will provide the people in our county," said Dr. David Redwine, Chairman of the Scott County Board of Supervisors. "We look forward to a linked partnership as their business prospers."

"Today’s announcement marks another major success for my Showcasing Southwest Virginia program and our second job creation announcement in recent months from companies that I have introduced to the region. I thank Governor Warner for his assistance in securing this win for Southwest Virginia," Boucher said.
