Deirdre Collins supports efforts to recruit new and expanding businesses to Virginia, contributing to initiatives that drive investment, job creation, and market diversification. Deirdre serves as a key liaison between site selection consultants and Virginia’s economic development network, ensuring seamless coordination, clear communication, and access to the people and resources needed to move projects forward.

Working across the Business Investment Division, Sector Teams, and the Strategic Projects & Lead Generation Team, Deirdre helps foster collaboration among public and private partners, including government agencies, companies, and academic institutions, and liaises between partner networks to ensure alignment. She plays a key role in supporting coordinated efforts that help site selection consultants and businesses evaluate opportunities and grow in Virginia.
