Michael Evranian brings a private sector approach to development; matching investment needs to move projects at the speed of business. Working with manufacturers exploring expansion, Michael helps companies evaluate where Virginia’s resources can best match their key drivers needed to grow advanced materials projects in the Commonwealth.

An expert who supports advanced manufacturing investment and growth

Since joining VEDP in 2022 and progressing into his current role, Michael has worked closely with manufacturers and industry partners to advance opportunities in Virginia. Supporting advanced manufacturing investment and growth, Michael brings more than 20 years of experience in business development and partnership strategy across both private and public sectors. His background includes experience working with well-known manufacturers such as Goodyear, AXALTA, Stanley Black & Decker, and Smithfield Foods.

With deep roots in Virginia, Michael has previous experience in business development efforts for NASCAR at both Richmond Raceway and Martinsville Speedway, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate (GRACRE).
