An expert who turns data into actionable economic development insight
Since rejoining VEDP in 2022, Landon has led research efforts that support executive decision-making and policy development. His background includes work with Virginia’s Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission, where he focused on unemployment insurance and higher education policy, as well as research at the Brookings Institution on rural development. This experience informs his ability to connect data to real-world economic outcomes, and provide internal and external parties the insights they need to make informed decisions.
